We want you to love your Whimsy Mimzy treasures! Each piece is chosen or created with care — but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

This policy applies to all purchases made through Whimsy Mimzy Shop (whimsymimzy.com/shop).

Thank you for shopping with Whimsy Mimzy 💫 — we want you to feel confident and delighted with your purchase. This page explains how refunds, returns, and exchanges work in our shop.

 

1. Order Processing & Delivery

All orders are processed and shipped directly from our trusted DSers suppliers.

Delivery times may vary depending on the supplier’s location and your shipping address (UK, EU, and worldwide). Estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout.

Please double-check your delivery address before completing your order — once processed, we can’t always guarantee changes.

 

2. Refunds & Returns Eligibility

We accept returns and issue refunds under the following conditions:

Damaged or Defective Items — If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and include clear photos of the issue.

Wrong Item Sent — If you receive an incorrect item, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

Supplier Approval — As our items are fulfilled via DSers suppliers, refund or return requests are submitted to them for approval before processing.

Not Eligible for Refunds or Returns:

  • Change of mind or personal preference (unless accepted by the supplier).

  • Items that have been used, worn, or altered.

  • Personal care, beauty, or intimate products (for hygiene reasons).

  • Sale or clearance items marked as final sale.

 

3. Returns Eligibility

You can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a refund or exchange, items must be:

  • Unused, unworn, and in their original packaging.

  • In resellable condition.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Personalised, custom-made, or made-to-order products.

  • Digital downloads.

  • Sale, clearance, or final-sale items (unless faulty).

  • Hygiene-sensitive products such as earrings (unless defective).

 

4. Product Types & Fulfilment Partners

Whimsy Mimzy offers two main product types, each with slightly different return processes:

  1. a) DSers-Sourced Products (Third-Party Suppliers)
  • Items are shipped directly from our trusted global partners.

  • Refunds and returns are subject to each supplier’s approval.

  • Once your request is received, we liaise with the supplier to process your refund or exchange.

  • Processing times vary depending on supplier location and communication.

  1. b) Whimsy Mimzy Originals & Branded Merchandise (via Printful)
  • Products such as mugs, hoodies, tote bags, wall art, and other printed goods are made to order by Printful.

  • Returns are accepted only if an item arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective.

  • If you receive a faulty item, please contact hello@whimsymimzy.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and a brief description of the issue.

  • Printful’s policy covers replacements or refunds for quality issues, but not for buyer’s remorse, incorrect sizing, or minor colour variations.

5. How to Start a Return

To request a return or refund, please email hello@whimsymimzy.com and include:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • Photos (if faulty or incorrect)

  • A short explanation of the issue

We’ll confirm next steps and provide the correct return address, depending on whether your item came from a DSers supplier or Printful.

 

6. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

If your return is approved due to damage or defect, we’ll cover or reimburse standard return shipping costs.

 

7. Refunds

Once your return is received and approved:

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.

Please note: for DSers-sourced items, refund timing may vary based on the supplier’s processing schedule.

 

8. Exchanges

We’re happy to offer exchanges for eligible items, depending on stock availability.
If an exchange isn’t possible, we’ll issue a refund instead.

 

9. Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)

When processing returns, we may need to share limited personal data — such as your name, contact details, and order information — with our fulfilment partners (DSers and Printful) to resolve the issue.

We only share the minimum data necessary and ensure it’s handled securely, in full compliance with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and international data protection laws.

 

10. Your Legal Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 within 14 days of receiving your order.
